Women's Self-Defense Workshop

Practical Skills. Real Confidence. One Afternoon.

Most self-defense advice sounds good until someone is actually resisting.

This four-hour workshop is different.

You'll learn practical, pressure-tested self-defense skills taught by Forge Krav Maga coach Sydney Lizarzo in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment. Every technique is designed for real-world situations and focuses on giving you simple, effective options that work under stress—not complicated martial arts techniques that take years to master.

Whether you've never trained before or simply want to feel more prepared, you'll leave stronger, more confident, and with skills you can start using immediately.

Space is intentionally limited to just 20 participants to ensure plenty of individual coaching. This workshop is expected to sell out.

Reserve your spot early.

Who This Workshop Is For

This workshop is designed for women ages 12 and up.

No previous martial arts or fitness experience is required.

Whether you're preparing for college, commuting in the city, traveling, or simply want greater confidence in your everyday life, this workshop will meet you where you are.

What You'll Learn

Throughout the afternoon you'll learn practical skills for situations people are actually likely to encounter, including:

  • Escaping common grabs, holds, and chokes

  • Delivering powerful strikes using your body's strongest weapons

  • Defending yourself against larger, stronger attackers

  • Recognizing danger early and setting effective boundaries

  • Building confidence through realistic, guided training

Every technique is taught step by step before being practiced with a partner in a safe, controlled environment.

Why Train at Forge?

At Forge Krav Maga, we believe self-defense should be practical, realistic, and accessible.

Our instructors actively train in Krav Maga, boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and other combat sports, continually pressure-testing what they teach. That means you'll learn techniques that have been refined through thousands of hours of live practice—not theory.

This workshop emphasizes good decision-making, awareness, confidence, and simple skills that work for everyday people.
