Forge Krav Maga Student Level Testing

Saturday, May 16
1:00pm – 6:00pm
$120

Ready to show what you’ve got?

This is your opportunity to demonstrate your growth, your resilience, and your ability to perform under pressure. Testing is a core part of the Forge curriculum—a structured way to level up and prove your skills in a real, demanding environment.

What This Test Is

This isn’t a ceremony. It’s a challenge.

You’ll be pushed physically, mentally, and technically across five hours of training. Expect fatigue. Expect pressure. Expect things to not go perfectly—and to keep going anyway.

We’re not looking for perfect technique in a vacuum.
We’re looking for control, adaptability, and decision-making when it counts.

What You’ll Be Tested On

  • Core Krav Maga techniques from your level

  • Striking, defenses, and movement under fatigue

  • Decision-making under pressure

  • Control and composure in unpredictable situations

  • Your ability to keep going when it gets hard

This is where technique meets reality.

How Testing Works

Testing is open to all levels—from beginners through advanced students—but participation requires instructor approval to ensure you’re ready.

Your performance will fall into one of four outcomes:

  • Incomplete — Unable to finish the test

  • Fail — More training needed before advancing

  • Conditional Pass — You’re close; refine and get signed off

  • Pass — You’re ready for the next level

Most students land in conditional pass—this is part of the process.

Requirements to Test

You must:

  • Meet the required class count for your level

  • Receive instructor approval

  • Be consistently training and prepared

Testing isn’t something you sign up for casually—it’s something you earn.

How to Prepare

This isn’t just about knowing the material. It’s about performing it under stress.

  • Train consistently in the weeks leading up

  • Ask your coaches for feedback

  • Practice outside of class

  • Show up rested, fueled, and ready

Preparation = confidence.

What to Bring

  • Change of clothes (you will get sweaty)

  • Indoor and outdoor training shoes

  • Water and a snack

Why This Matters

Krav Maga isn’t about memorizing techniques. It’s about applying them when it’s messy, fast, and unpredictable.

Testing is where that shift happens.

You’ll walk in with skills. You’ll walk out knowing whether you can actually use them.
